I specialise in renovating and opening retail stores, turning concepts into ready-to-trade spaces. From design and layout to suppliers, budgeting, and full pre-opening coordination, I create efficient, beautiful stores that brands can launch with confidence.
Malmousque Ltd provides end-to-end support for retail brands expanding into Hong Kong and New York. Since 2012, I’ve designed and delivered four retail stores and one corner, managing every stage from concept to opening.
My first project was TroiZenfantS, where I adapted a Paris store design to fit the Hong Kong layout. I led a full store renovation and handled the entire pre-opening process, from sourcing suppliers and negotiating quotes to coordinating telecoms, insurance, security, and cleaning.
For Atelier de Paris, I upcycled furniture from TroiZenfantS and created a fresh new universe with an updated colour code to reflect the brand’s identity.
With Inside, I opened a new concept store in Mui Wo, managing the full design and build. I oversaw renovations, operational setup, and pre-opening coordination. I also handled all administrative requirements, including company registration and regulatory compliance.
We later renovated Inside’s flagship store in Repulse Bay to improve visibility, customer path and experience. We reused high-quality furniture from a previous store, adapting it to the new layout for a sustainable and cost-effective result.
For Play Lab in New York, I created a simple yet impactful retail corner on a limited budget, ensuring the brand remained visible and consistent in a key market.
